Participation in the Summer Band Jumpstart Program is a great way to learn how to play your new instrument before your instrumental class begins in the fall. Participation in this program is not required but is HIGHLY recommended. This program provides an opportunity for incoming 6th grade students or 7th/8th grade students learning a new instrument to begin developing the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the Bedford band program. Students will need to have their own instrument and supplies to participate unless other arrangements have been made in advance with Mr. Meggitt. Program dates: June 15th - June 25th, Monday through Thursday both weeks, 8 practices, 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. in the Bedford High School band room.
