Summer Band and Orchestra Programs
Summer Parks is a drop-in and drop-out program for kids grades K-5.
In this beginner/intermediate class, you will be introduced to basic line dance steps and will learn many fun-filled dances that are currently being done at some of the clubs. The first half of class time will be beginner level while the second half will be intermediate. This is a great way to get exercise, and a partner is not required. We will be dancing to both country and mainstream music. Be prepared to shake, shuffle, and boot scoot your way through this weekly hour of fun. Leather-soled shoes or boots are recommended so you can move freely without sticking to the floor. Different dances are taught each session.
