The Bedford Girls Basketball League is open to girls in grades 4-6 who would like to play basketball. Practices will be held once a week in various Bedford gyms starting the week of Nov. 4th between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Games will be on Saturdays beginning Nov. 16th. VOLUNTEERS are a must to coach. Please complete the coaches form when registering your child if you are interested. DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Friday, October 25th.

The purpose of this league is to introduce preschool kids to the game of basketball. The intent is to teach basic skills and provide the opportunity to enjoy playing on a team. To maximize participation, league rules require every team member equal playing time during all games with an emphasis on skill development, team building and good sportsmanship. Coaches Needed: Volunteers are very valuable to the success of this league. Please consider coaching or assist coaching a team. The Bedford Youth Grades K-3 Co-Ed Basketball League is open to both boys & girls and will be divided by grades (Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3.) Players will learn basketball skills and play games in an organized league. Basket height will be adjusted for for this age group. Each team will have one practice a week for an hour in an elementary school gym. Games will be played on Saturday mornings. Bedford residents have priority in being placed on a team. Space remaining is open to other communities depending on the number of participants, volunteer coaches and facility space. Registrations are on a first-come basis. League size depends on the number of volunteer coaches. Coaches Needed: Volunteers are very valuable to the success of this league. Please consider coaching or assist coaching a team. Being waitlisted does not guarantee a spot on a team.
